Haifa U cancels tomorrows psychometric exam date

Haifa University decided on Saturday to cancel the administration of the university psychometric entrance exam at the university, due to logistical problems caused by area fires in Israel's North. The university stated that it will use a make-up test date later this week.
On a related note, Ben Gurion University in the Negev also agreed to grant students volunteering to help contain the fires in the North a non-penalized leave of absence equivalent to those given to students serving in reserve duty.  The move came as part of a move by the university to encourage student volunteering efforts in assisting fire containment efforts in the disaster area.
