Hamas Interior Minister Mahir Abu Sabha said Wednesday that Egypt was set to reopen the Rafah land crossing connecting the Gaza Strip the Sinai Peninsula, Palestinian news agency Ma'an reported.
Abu Sabha reiterated the Palestinian claim that Gaza-based terrorists had nothing to do with an attack on an Egyptian border post that killed 16 guards last Sunday. He added that talks with Egypt over the opening of the border crossing were ongoing.
