In response to Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman's statement about Hamas in Gaza to Palestinian media. Hazem Kassem, Hamas Spokesman in Gaza, stated that the people of Gaza have the right a sea port with out being black mailed.

"The tunnels, rockets and weapons are legitimate resistance to Israel's occupation," Kassem stated. "It is on Israel to take care of all of Gaza's needs," He continued, "Our people have the right to access the world outside Gaza, including a sea port and airport. These are rights, not a tool to blackmail with."
