Hamas: Terrorist's slaying proof Israel planning more hits

Hamas has condemned the killing of wanted terrorist Ali Ismail Ahmed Sweiti, who died in a joint operation by the IDF, Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) and Border Police near Hebron on Monday.

"This is proof of the enemy's hope to destroy the Palestinian resistance in preparation for a much larger assassination plan," it said in a statement.

However, the group added defiantly that the "resistance will stay alive despite all the crimes committed by the occupying power. The resistance alone will restrain the enemy and rid it from Palestinian land."
