Two suspects have been arrested in the Gaza murder of an Italian peace activist, Hamas announced Saturday.

Vittorio Arrigoni, who came to Gaza in 2008 on a ship carrying humanitarian aid, was abducted by an Al-Qaida inspired group. In a YouTube clip released on Thursday, his abductors threatened to kill him by 5 p.m. on Friday unless Hamas Islamists released the group's leader.

Hamas said they found his body Friday morning.
