Taher a-Nunu, spokesman for the Hamas government, said Monday that the factions in the Gaza Strip and Hamas announced that they are willing to comply to truce, if Israel agrees not to carry out more strikes.

At the same time, the Egyptian Ambassador to the Palestinian Authority Yasser Othman said the next few hours will determine the future of the ceasefire. "A calming down of the situation will not happen unless Israel stops attacking Gaza and all the Palestinians factions agree together to stop rocket fire," said Osman to Hamas affiliated newspaper A-Risala.
