Hamas once again turned down demands made by the Red Cross to visit captured IDF soldier Gilad Schalit, Israel Radio reported Wednesday.

In an interview with a Hamas newspaper, Hamas MP Yichia Musa said that the Red Cross is not able to guarantee the life of Schalit if they were to visit him. Musa continued to explain that the Red Cross does not take into consideration the military issues involved in the demands.

In the newspaper interview, which was cited Israel Radio, Musa said that unreasonable treatment of the matter could cause Israel to free the kidnapped soldier with force.
