In the ultra-Orthodox Mea Sha'arim neighborhood of Jerusalem, haredim threw rocks at the vehicle of the Jerusalem bomb squad on Wednesday evening, which had arrived on Spitzer Street in order to diffuse a suspicious object. Damage was caused to the vehicle but there were no injuries.

An investigation was opened into the incident. Police have repeatedly stressed they refuse to be intimidated by extremist haredi rioters, who have frequently thrown rocks at police and burned trash cans to show their displeasure with police incursions into their neighborhoods.
