Hariri: Lebanon not to negotiate individually with Israel

Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri said his country will not conduct individual negotiations with Israel because it intends to comply with the comprehensive Arab Peace Initiative of the Arab League, reported Army Radio Thursday morning.

Hariri said that during talks with Russian President Dimitri Medvedev and Prime Minister Vladimir Putin in Moscow this week, the issue of Israel's opposition to Lebanon's armaments was raised.

"The Lebanese army needs new weapons. The last time weapons were received was 40 years ago," Hariri told Russian media.
