Responding to warnings by Holon municipal clerks that the tent protest needed to be removed from the Jesse Cohen neighborhood, activists burned a couch and lit tires in attempts to block roads surrounding the site.

Earlier, city clerks circled the site, and protesters speculated that YASSAM crowd-control police were on their way to dismantle the tent city.
