Hundreds of residents of Mevaseret Zion and the Jerusalem corridor protested changes to the main entrance road into Jerusalem, blocking Route One on Sunday.

The demonstrators were protesting a planned rerouting of the highway, which would force residents of the Jerusalem suburb to drive through nearby Abu Gosh in order to reach the capital.
