Hungarian officials allayed concerns over a possible collapse of a reservoir holding toxic red sludge in Hungary, saying no new cracks were found on the reservoir's walls and the older cracks were being repaired, reported the Associated Press on Sunday.

Hungarian officials added that protective walls were also being built around the cracked area of the reservoir to prevent future spills.
