Israeli aircraft struck a weapons storehouse in Gaza Saturday evening, amid an escalation of violence between terror organizations in the Strip and the IDF that began on Friday and carried on throughout the Purim holiday weekend.

The strike on the weapons storage house was a direct response to the continued rocket fire into Israeli territory, the IDF Spokesman's Unit announced.

"Hamas, which takes advantage of terrorist organizations for carrying out terrorist actions against Israel, will be responsible for every future action taken by the IDF in order to remove the terror threat and restore relative calm in the area," the IDF spokesman said in its statement.
