IDF search teams to cease looking for Haiti quake survivors

The Israeli search teams operating in Haiti will cease looking for survivors buried beneath rubble as of Monday, Army Radio reported Sunday evening.

Team commanders reportedly determined that the chances of finding anyone alive more than four days after the quake that hit Haiti on Tuesday night would be very slim.

IDF Home Front soldiers currently in Haiti will nonetheless remain no the island, at least until Thursday, assisting IDF medical teams at the Israeli field hospital.
