IDF searches after officer abandons his southern unit

The IDF, along with police, began a search party Monday for an officer with the rank of captain who abandoned his unit in the south of the country during a training exercise.

According to reports, the officer left the training exercise after he clashed with his commander. The IDF stated that it believed that the officer was not in danger and that he was in good health.
