IDF soldier moderately hurt in paratroopers training in northern Israel

An IDF soldier was moderately injured during a Paratroopers Brigade training jump in northern Israel and was evacuated by helicopter for medical treatment, the army said Wednesday.

The military added that the soldier's family has been notified of the incident.

The Head of Ground Command Forces Maj.Gen. Kobi Barak has cancelled all paratrooper jumps for the next 36 hours while an investigation into the incident is conducted.
