The IDF tried to assassinate leader of the northern branch of the Islamic Movement, Sheikh Raed Salah on the Mavi Marmara, claimed the head of the Turkish organization IHH, Bulent Yildirim, on Wednesday in an interview with a Qatari newspaper.

An IDF hit list of 16 activists to be eliminated "fell from the pocket of an Israeli commando during the boarding of the Mavi Marmara," Yildirim stated.

Yildirim defiantly proclaimed that the IHH would continue to organize and send ships to Gaza and that family members of the nine Turks killed in the recent flotilla expedition have requested to join the next IHH flotilla to the Gaza Strip.
