The identity of the moped driver killed Tuesday afternoon in Tel Aviv has been released. Kfir Ben-David, 23, a resident of Rishon Lezion, died after losing control of his moped and crashing into a commercial vehicle on Tel Aviv's Ayalon Highway, between interchanges La Guardia and Hashalom. The man sustained mortal injuries as a result of the crash and was treated at the scene by an MDA team. However, he succumbed to his wounds less than an hour later. Police said the man had been riding on the shoulder of the road when the accident occurred. The exact cause of the accident was unclear.
