Ilan Grapel reunited with his mother at Ben-Gurion Airport

Ilan Grapel, the Israeli who has been held in Egypt for five months on spying charges, was reunited with his mother on Thursday after being freed and landing at Ben-Gurion Airport.

After leaving the airport, Grapel was expected to drive to Jerusalem for a brief meeting with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.
