An assailant carried out a stabbing attack in the Old City section of the capital on Saturday afternoon, initial reports claimed on Saturday.

According to the reports, one man was injured in the attack and the perpetrator was neutralized at the scene. Hebrew media reported that the attack took place near the Lions' Gate.



Magen David Adom confirmed that an emergency team was rushed to the site, where they treated a male for a stabbing wound in his upper chest. The man is reportedly moderately injured.
