Iraq: Roadside bomb near Baghdad kills 5 members of family

BAGHDAD  — A roadside bomb north of Baghdad killed five members of a family on Friday, including a 4-year-old girl, said Iraqi police.
Police spokesman Maj. Ghalib al-Karkhi said the family was not the intended target of the bombing, which struck their car near the town of Buhriz. The town is a former stronghold of Saddam Hussein and is about 35 miles (60 kilometers) north of the capital.
