Twenty Iron Dome interceptor rockets fell to the ground from a launch pad in southern Israel on Thursday.
The rockets did not explode but sustained damage. IDF soldiers and officers were nearby when the incident occurred but none were injured.
The IDF launched an investigation into the incident, during which the Iron Dome system will be offline.
