Israeli arrested in Namibia for suspected diamond theft

Namibian police arrested an Israeli national for allegedly being involved in stealing 2.6 million dollars worth of diamonds from a Namibian polishing company, AFP reported Friday.

"We can confirm the arrest of on Israeli national, Erez Ben Shushan, who appeared in the magistrate court of Okahandja on Wednesday," a police official, who did not want to be named, said.
