The Israeli Air Force carried out multiple strikes against Hamas infrastructure in northern Gaza on Monday afternoon in a second act of retaliation for a rocket attack that struck southern Israel earlier in the day.

According to the IDF, Israeli jets struck three Hamas positions along the trajectory of the projectile hours after the military fired tank rounds at targets belonging to the terror group in response to the attack.

The IDF noted that it holds Hamas responsible for all activities emanating from Gaza.
