Negotiator and lawyer Yitzhak Molcho left for Washington on Monday ahead of the launch of direct talks between Israel and the Palestinians later this week.

The Prime Minister is due to travel to the US on Tuesday.  Netanyahu has made clear that he will lead the negotiations, with the help of a small team headed by Molcho, his point-man on the Palestinian issue.
