A Jerusalem resident suspected of illegally brokering deals for the sale of kidneys had his remand extended by five days on Sunday.

According to the police, the suspect would accept tens of thousands of dollars from people seeking kidneys for transplants and send them to Ecuador to collect the kidney. Upon arriving in Ecuador the victims realized that no kidney awaited them.
