'Jordanian authorities probing bombing attempt'

Amman is currently investigating Thursday's attempt to bomb a convoy belonging to the Israeli diplomatic mission in Jordan, the country's information minister, Nabil Sharif, told <i>Al-Hayat</i> on Friday.

Sharif was quoted as saying that the details of the investigation would be made public once it was completed. He added that all possibilities were currently being considered - among them that Hizbullah, Hamas or Al-Qaida were responsible for the attack. He stressed, however, that Jordan would not point fingers prematurely.
