Keren Kayemet L'Israel CEO Effie Stenzler on Wednesday stated during a speech at the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya that the KKL-JNF would advance a bill in the Knesset that would ban the setting of any fires in national forests between the summer months of June and August.

Stenzler said that the intended law would help combat the heightened risk of forest fires during the dry summer months.
