Students at the Nir Hesder Yeshiva in Kiryat Arba on Tuesday issued a statement warning that they do not intend to follow military orders that contradict the values of the Torah. "It is obvious to every believing Jew that the Torah is above all else, and is not at the same level as any other value," they stated, according to a Channel 10 report. "We must not be ashamed of our just way," the statement reportedly concluded.
