Yesh Atid party leader Yair Lapid on Sunday announced that he had offered former Kadima leader Tzipi Livni to be number two on his party's list for the Knesset.

Lapid said that he had spoken with Livni a number of times in recent days.

The Yesh Atid party leader said that if Livni accepted the second slot she would be a full partner with him on all key decisions.

He also said that a split of the Center-block would be bad for Israel and called on Livni to join forces and change the country together.
