Liberman considering withdrawing ambassador from UNHRC

Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman said Friday that he was considering withdrawing the Israel ambassador to the UN Human Rights Council and severing ties with the body, following its establishment of a fact-finding mission to probe the effects of settlements on Palestinian human rights.
During a meeting with President of Singapore Tony Tan Keng Yam, Liberman added that he will work with countries such as the United States to try to persuade them to quit the council too.
