CAIRO - Libyan television on Thursday broadcast footage of Muammar Gaddafi driving around Tripoli in an open-top sports utility vehicle and said the outing occurred while the Libyan capital was being bombed by NATO.

Wearing a green safari hat, dark glasses and a black jacket, state television showed Gaddafi pumping his fists in the air and waving.
