The Likud Party responded to Yesh Atid chairman, MK Yair Lapid who referred to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu actions saying: "Netanyahu's conduct since the Security Council vote has only worsened the damage."

The Likud Party responded that: "Yair Lapid's response does not surprise anybody. This is a limp policy that the Left has led for years: Giving you a slap, present the second cheek. Lapid proves again that he is a Left wing party in disguise- and nothing else."
