Israel must weaken terrorists directly, but also follow a diplomatic process with pragmatic leaders, opposition leader Tzipi Livni wrote on her Facebook page Saturday after a barrage of rockets from Gaza struck southern Israel.

"The firing this evening reminds everyone that this region is saturated with terrorist extremists that Israel must weaken, both directly and through the diplomatic process with pragmatic leaders that do not use violence," Livni wrote.

Livni also said that she spoke with the council head of Gan Yavne, where one grad rocket exploded on Saturday, wounding one.
