Opposition leader Tzipi Livni will testify before the Turkel Commission on Monday.

Livni requested to testify after Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's testimony in August, and felt that in her capacity as a former deputy prime minister and foreign minister will be able to contribute to the committee's investigation.

Livni pointed out that she was part of the government that decided to blockade Gaza, and said "this policy is relevant to the circumstances that led to the flotilla and in the general context of the flotilla incident - both national and international."
