MK Ibrahim Sarsour (UAL-Ta'al) said that the suspected terror incident in which an Israeli Arab driver injured 17 and killed one is an accident.

"The road accident in Tel Aviv is an ordinary accident, the driver is innocent," Sarsour said. "It is regrettable the way normal events escalate to be security incidents only because they are related to Arabs one way or another."

"The rumors and interpretations that followed and the extremist rampage of some right-wingers created a false impression that the incident was intentional," Sarsour said. "This is completely contrary to the reality of the case."
