Makhoul's Hizbullah espionage trial begins in Haifa

Espionage suspect Amir Makhoul's trial began in the Haifa District Court on Sunday.

Makhoul is charged with spying for Hizbullah, assisting an enemy at a time of war, and maintaining contact with an enemy agent.Before the trial, Makhoul said the charges were a plot, and that the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) considers all Israeli Arabs criminals.
