Police on Tuesday released to house arrest a resident of Beit Zayt, who was arrested Monday on suspicion of negligently causing a fire in the Jerusalem Forest.

Police suspect the fire started after the wind blew trash that the man piled next to his home.

The investigation was set to continue, police said.
