Man shoots 4 people dead in northern Spanish town

MADRID — Police Wednesday said they arrested a man suspected of shooting dead four people in a town in northeastern Spain.
In a statement, police said a man walked into a bar in the town of Olot on Wednesday morning and shot two men dead with a shotgun. Minutes later, he went to a bank and killed two staff.
Daily La Vanguardia and other media outlets said the two men killed in the bar were a construction company owner and his son.
Olot mayor Lluis Sacrest told local RAC-1 radio that financial problems appeared to have been behind the killings. Police identified the suspect as a 57-year-old Spaniard.
