A man was found stabbed to death in the Haifa suburb of Kiryat Ata on Monday in what police now say they believe was suicide. Police had originally suspected that the death may have been a murder connected to a lover's spat.

The approximately 40-year-old man was found critically wounded in his home, where MDA paramedics attempted to save his life to no avail.
