A 40-year-old man was arrested Monday after swearing at Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat when he was touring the center of town.

Commando police officers noticed the man shouting at Barkat who the hell are you?” and swearing at him.

When they tried to restrain him, he attacked one of them, and during a search tear gas and assault weapons were found on his body.

He was detained for additional interrogation.
