Mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo Thursday evening conveyed her support and condolences for the victims of this week's Tel Aviv terror attack at Sorona Market, according to a statement released by her office.

"I send my sincere condolences to the families of the victims, and on behalf of the city of Paris we send our support to the residents of Tel Aviv and their mayor, Ron Huldai," Hidalgo said.

"Nothing justifies the terrorist violence or similar acts directed against Israel and its citizens," she added.

Four people were killed in a terrorist shooting attack on Wednesday evening at Tel Aviv's popular Sorana Market outdoor shopping square perpetrated by two Palestinian assailants from Hebron.
