David Meidan, who negotiated the release of Gilad Schalit, will now serve as Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's coordinator for issues relating to missing soldiers and prisoners, the PMO announced Sunday.

Meidan, a former senior Mossad official, will replace Ilan Brian, who has served in that position for the last 10 years.
