Meron parking lots packed to the limit

All parking lots surrounding Mount Meron are one hundred percent full and cannot contain any more vehicles, police said on Saturday night.
Due to the late hour of the transition from Shabbat to Lag Baomer, many observant Jews only embarked on the annual pilgrimage to the mountain at night, intending to arrive on time for a traditional ceremony set to take place at 10 p.m.
Many more were expected to make their way to the site on Sunday morning.
