US Middle East Envoy George Mitchell traveled to the United Arab Emirates Monday to speak with Prince Sheikh Muhammad bin Zaid Al-Nahayan of Abu Dhabi on peace negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians, reported AFP.

Mitchell has met with a string of leaders in the Middle East recently in his effort to spur direct peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians, including Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, and Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas.
