Former defense minister MK Shaul Mofaz met with Egyptian Ambassador Yasser Reda on Sunday to present his new diplomatic plan that calls for establishing a Palestinian state with temporary borders in 60 percent of the West Bank while annexing settlement blocs, and then negotiating final borders. In recent days, Mofaz, who is Kadima's no. 2, has met with the US, Russian and Turkish envoys to Israel. On Monday, he is expected to set off on a trip to the US to meet with Obama administration officials and Jewish leaders.
