Chairman of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee Shaul Mofaz on Monday gave a speech during the Foreign Ministry's ambassadors' conference, saying, "We need to be not only right, but also smart. Israel's conduct against Turkey is just one example. Turkey is Israel's colleague and day after day we are intensifying our dialogue against the Turks, which is pushing them in the arms of the Iranians."

Mofaz added, "Netanyahu must meet with the Turkish prime minister and not walk toward a path of confrontation."
