Several bones and a shoe were found on Wednesday in the forest near Usfiya where the body of missing soldier Majdi Halabi was found, Army Radio reported.
According to Army Radio, the remains were sent to Abu Kabir Forensic Institute for DNA testing in order to determine whether they belong to the Druse soldier who has been missing for seven years prior to being found last week.
Dozens of soldiers and police investigators swept the area in search of any additional leads as to whether Halabi's death was of criminal or other circumstances.
