A large-scale drill will be taking place in Jerusalem on Tuesday between 8 am and 4 pm, to assess the capital's preparedness for emergencies.

As part of the event orchestrated by the National Emergency Authority, an alarm will sound at 10 a.m. and will continue for 1.5 minutes, and the city's student's and municipality will practice evacuation into shelters and protected spaces. Fire and emergency medical services will practice responding to terrorist acts, fires and will conduct rescues and medical evacuations.

Heavy traffic of rescue and emergency vehicles will be active, and municipality vehicles will simulate receiving population arriving to the city independently from out of town.

The citizens are requested to fill out a feedback form which will be posted on the municipal website, indicating whether the sirens were heard in their neighborhoods.
