National Student Union new ‘Center Stage’ series of events to include discussions with ministers

The National Student Union will launch a new series of events, “Center Stage,” in an effort to bring together students with public officials and politicians.

Finance Minister Yair Lapid, Education Minister Shai Piron, and Chair of the Planning and Budget Committee (PBC) Michael Trajtenberg will participate in the first meeting scheduled for Thursday. Student Union Chairman Uri Reshtik will open the event.

The purpose of “Center Stage” is to bring to the attention of youth in Israel, topics and issues which are on the agenda.  Among the topics that will be discussed, the vision of the higher education system as formulated by students and by the needs of students in Israel today.
